Setup

The following guide will show you how to setup an active short code or keyword from within your account.

Simply click on "Short Codes" on the left-hand control panel menu, select the "Setup" option and follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Searching

Choose the short code or keyword you wish to setup, by clicking on the arrow to the left of the specific short code to view all your keywords, as seen below:

Important Information

  • If you have a dedicated short code, you have the option of creating keywords depending on your requirements, by clicking on the "+ Add Keyword" option under the "Actions" icon to the right of the relevant short code.

Step 2: Reporting

You have the option of receiving a daily, weekly or monthly report for all incoming messages to your short code or keyword, by clicking on the "Actions" icon to the right of the short code or keyword and selecting "Reporting". Add your preferred email address and click on "Save", as seen below:

Important Information

  • You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma and no spaces.

Step 3: Forwarding

You have the option of having all incoming responses to your short code or keyword forwarded to a URL, mobile number or email address of your choice, by clicking on the "Actions" icon to the right of the short code or keyword, and selecting "Forwarding". Add your preferred information and click on "Save" as seen below:

Forward Response to Mobile

  • Kindly note that if you have selected to forward all incoming responses to a mobile number, the system will deduct an additional credit from the account for each response that is forwarded.

Important Information

  • You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma and no spaces.
  • An automated reply can be setup for all incoming responses. Please note that an additional credit will be deducted from the account for each response sent.
